South Padre Island: Spotted Weakfish & Mixed Fishing Fun

Hot bite and happy crew! Summer fishing on South Padre Island was in full swing as I took Drew and their crew out for a 5 Hour (AM) Bay Fishing Trip with Today We Fish Charter and Adventures. We set out early, hitting the water at first light to make the most of the morning bite. The weather cooperated nicely, with partly cloudy skies providing some relief from the July heat. South Padre Island's diverse fishing grounds were calling our name as we prepared for a day of surf fishing, pier fishing, and even some deep sea action.

Throughout the day, the partly cloudy skies kept conditions comfortable, and the fish seemed to appreciate the mix of sun and shade as much as we did.
