Captain Steve made our 5-hour fishing trip a total success! We reeled in plenty of fish and even had a close encounter with a beautiful Black Drum—though the big one got away, at least we had witnesses. Highly recommend booking a trip with him!

Had an amazing time on the water today! The captain was friendly and did an excellent job planning the trip. We visited multiple fishing spots, chased a huge school of Red Drum, and even spotted dolphins. Everything ran smoothly and was a lot of fun. Highly recommend!

6:30 AM - 9:30 AM

This is our second trip with Captain Steven Hillary and won’t be our last. Steven does not disappoint and put us on fish right away. We hit on some nice Reds and Trout and had a great time. Steven is very patient and accommodating, helping with bait and artificial lure selection. His knowledge of the bay system ensures a great trip. The equipment and boat are very well maintained and modern. Steven also is a great conversationist and we enjoy talking with him about a multitude of outdoor subjects. Thanks again.

We had an amazing trip! Captain Steven was amazing, very professional and personable. Boat and equipment were all clean and super nice. We cut our fishing portion of the trip short when we got our limit of trout so we didn't catch anything great big but when Steven heard it was my first time on the ocean he took us on an amazing tour of the water around South Padre. We are truly blessed. Most definitely recommend and will be booking with Steven again for our next trip!!

Captain Steve is the real deal! From the moment we hit the water, he had us on the trout. We reached our limit of speckled trout by 9:30 AM, and the action was nonstop. He clearly knows the waters around South Padre like the back of his hand. The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-outfitted. Steve was friendly, professional, and made the entire experience fun and stress-free. He was great with everyone on board, patient, helpful, and always working to keep us on fish. If you’re booking a trip through Fishbooker, stop scrolling and book Captain Steve and you won’t regret it. We’ll definitely be back for another trip!
