South Padre Island: Spotted Trout and Redfish Action on 1/2 Day Bay Trip

Action-packed day from the get-go! I headed out on the waters of South Padre Island TX with Scott and their crew for our 1/2 Day Morning Bay Fishing Trip. The summer sun was already warming things up as we set off at the crack of dawn. Clear conditions greeted us, perfect for spotting fish activity on the surface. Today We Fish Charter and Adventures always aims to provide the best experience, and this trip was shaping up to be no exception.

With our gear rigged and ready, we kicked things off with some drift fishing along the coast using Coast To Coast Sandy's Plum Lure. The crew was eager to get lines in the water, so we wasted no time. As the morning progressed, we moved on to try our luck at some redfish, taking advantage of different structures to find where the fish were biting. The variety of spots kept things interesting, and it was great to see everyone getting into the rhythm of casting and retrieving. We rounded out our adventure with some oversized 25" trout, venturing further out for a chance at bigger catches.

Throughout the day, we managed to hook into some Spotted Trout. While we landed some monsters, the consistent action kept rods bent and smiles wide. The clear conditions made for a beautiful day on the water, even when the fish weren't cooperating. We wrapped up the trip with great memories and a few good stories to tell.
