Had a crew of four join us for an early morning spring trip on Laguna Madre. We launched around dawn with partly cloudy skies overhead, which made for comfortable conditions on the water. The bay was calm and clear, perfect for what we had planned. This was our Bay Fishing Trip through Today We Fish Charter and Adventures.
We focused on bottom fishing and drift fishing techniques throughout the morning, with some trolling mixed in to cover more water. The crew managed to land several Speckled Trout during our time out there. Laguna Madre is known for holding good numbers of specks, and the variety of techniques we used allowed us to work different depths and structures effectively. We wrapped up the trip with solid action and everyone had a great time on the water.
